Linktree Shopify Integration Alternatives for Ecommerce Brands
· by ExclusiveLink
Linktree's Shopify integration connects your Shopify catalog to your Linktree so a handful of products show up on the page, and it costs nothing extra beyond your Linktree plan. It does the job for a small store with one social account. It stops being enough when your bio link has to live on your own domain, report clicks by creator, open a drop at a set time, or point at a store that is not on Shopify. For those jobs the options are a Shopify app that syncs your catalog on your own domain (bitLink, LinkShop), a tracked router such as ExclusiveLink Pro at $49 a month, Beacons, or simply a collection URL.
Below is what Linktree's integration does and does not do, the five alternatives side by side, and which one fits which kind of store.

What the Linktree Shopify integration does
You install the Linktree app from the Shopify App Store, give it access to your store data and pick which products or collections to show. Linktree's own listing describes it as a way to "connect your Shopify catalog and key channels to guide buyers to curated collections from one simple page", and its marketplace page says customers can "shop your collections, sales, and most popular products right alongside your latest content". When the integration launched in November 2021, TechCrunch reported it showed up to six products at a time with live sync from Shopify collections.
Checkout still happens in your Shopify store. The Linktree plans listed on the App Store page are the same as Linktree's normal ones: Free, Starter at $8 a month, Pro at $15 and Premium at $35, with a 7-day trial on Pro and Premium. Our Linktree pricing breakdown has every tier and the seller fees that apply to digital products.
Why ecommerce brands look for a Linktree Shopify alternative
Four limits come up again and again once a store takes social seriously.
- No custom domain. Linktree's help center says plainly that it does not offer a custom domain to replace the linktr.ee address, and provides no domain forwarding tools. Your packaging, emails and checkout say yourbrand.com; your bio says linktr.ee.
- Attribution by creator. If you seed product with ten creators, you want ten sets of numbers. One shared Linktree gives you one.
- Drops. Timed launches need a link that opens on schedule and a list of people who asked to be first. That is a different tool from a product grid.
- Stores outside Shopify. A brand that also sells on Amazon, Etsy, TikTok Shop or a WooCommerce site needs a page that treats all of them the same.

The five options, and which store each one suits
1. bitLink, for a Shopify-only brand with a big catalog
bitLink's App Store listing says it "pulls live products, prices and stock so fans never hit a dead link", runs on your own domain and tracks clicks with UTM analytics. If everything you sell is on Shopify and you want product tiles on the bio page itself, this is the most direct replacement for Linktree's integration, and it fixes the domain problem at the same time. It lists a free plan.
2. LinkShop, for a simple shop-style bio page
LinkShop turns the bio link into a small storefront built from your Shopify products, at $15 a month with a free trial according to its listing. It suits a store that wants the bio page to look like a mini shop and does not need much beyond that.
3. ExclusiveLink, for multi-channel brands, creator programs and drops
We do not sync your catalog, and we will not pretend otherwise. Each button deep links to a product or collection page, so prices, stock and checkout never leave your store. What you get instead is the part the Shopify apps are not built for: every link carries its own UTM tags on Pro, so orders in Shopify or WooCommerce land against the post or creator that sent them; a drop link can open on Friday at 9 a.m. and close when stock runs out; the early access preview can sit behind an email gate that builds your launch list; and the page runs on shop.yourbrand.com. Studio at $149 gives each seeded creator or each brand its own page. Store orders carry no fee from us. The full setup is on our link in bio for ecommerce page.
4. Beacons, for a creator who sells a little merch
Beacons is a creator tool first. It supports a custom domain on paid plans and has its own store for digital products, with a 9% fee on the $10 plan and 0% from $30. For a creator with a merch store on the side it is a reasonable, cheap pick. It is not built around a brand team's reporting.
5. Your collection URL, for a store that posts rarely
If every post points at the same collection, put that collection URL in your bio and stop there. It is free, it loads fast and nothing can go stale. You only need a bio page once posts promote different products or you need to measure where traffic comes from.
What a creator program looks like in the numbers
Say you seed a new product with eight creators and each one puts your bio page link in their stories. With one shared Linktree, Shopify reports "Instagram" and a total. With a tagged link per creator (utm_source=instagram, utm_campaign=spring-seeding, utm_content=creator-handle), Shopify's marketing reports split the orders by creator. At that point you can pay the two creators who actually sold, drop the ones who did not, and brief the next round on what worked. If one creator drives even a handful of extra orders a month, Pro at $49 has paid for itself.
The same tagged traffic is also what you need for paid social later. Brands that test creator content as ads often start from the product page itself; a tool that can turn a product URL into UGC-style video ads slots in there, and your bio page numbers tell you which product to test first.
How to move off Linktree without losing traffic
- Build the new page and import your Linktree links, so every link in old posts has a home.
- Replace the Shopify product block with deep links to the products and collections you are pushing this month.
- On Pro, point shop.yourbrand.com at the page. The Linktree custom domain guide walks through the DNS record.
- Swap the bio link on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and leave one link on the old Linktree pointing to the new page for a few months.
If you are also replacing Shopify's retired Linkpop, the link in bio for Shopify page covers that move.
Frequently asked questions
Does Linktree integrate with Shopify?
Yes. Linktree has a Shopify app that connects your catalog so selected products and collections appear on your Linktree, with checkout in your Shopify store. It works on Linktree's Free, Starter ($8), Pro ($15) and Premium ($35) plans. It does not give you a custom domain on any plan.
Is Linktree good for Shopify stores?
For a small store with one social account, yes: it is quick to set up and the product block is free. It falls short when you need the bio page on your own domain, clicks split by creator, scheduled drops or stores beyond Shopify. A Shopify app like bitLink or a tracked page like ExclusiveLink covers those.
What is the best link in bio for Shopify?
For live product tiles on your own domain, a Shopify app such as bitLink. For multi-channel brands, creator programs and timed drops, ExclusiveLink Pro at $49 a month, with per-link UTM tags and no cut of store orders. For a store that posts rarely, the collection URL on its own.
Does Linktree take a fee on Shopify sales?
Orders placed through the Shopify product block complete in your Shopify checkout. Linktree's percentage fees (12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, 0% on Premium) are documented for digital products and courses sold on Linktree itself.
Linktree, bitLink and LinkShop details are from their Shopify App Store listings and Linktree's marketplace and help center pages; the six-product detail is from TechCrunch's November 11, 2021 launch report. Other prices are from each vendor's published pricing. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.
