Beacons Pricing in 2026: Plans, Seller Fees, and What You Keep

Beacons has four plans: Free at $0, Creator at $10, Creator Plus at $30 and Creator Max at $90 a month. The monthly price is only half the story. The number that decides what you actually keep is the 9% fee Beacons takes on every digital sale below the Creator Plus tier.

Gated and paid links on every plan. No platform branding, ever.

The short answer

Beacons costs $0 to $90 per month. The four plans are Free ($0), Creator ($10/mo), Creator Plus ($30/mo) and Creator Max ($90/mo). Annual billing works out to roughly two months free, so about $8, $25 and $75 a month on the paid tiers.

The subscription is not the whole cost. Beacons charges a 9% platform fee on digital product sales on both the Free plan and the Creator plan. That fee drops to 0% only once you reach Creator Plus at $30 a month. Stripe processing (2.9% + $0.30 per sale) sits on top of that on every plan, ours included.

The practical takeaway: once you sell more than about $222 a month in digital products, the Creator plan at $10 costs you more than Creator Plus at $30, because the 9% fee overtakes the $20 price gap. The cheaper looking plan becomes the expensive one the moment the page starts earning.

01The sticker price

What Beacons charges per month

Four tiers, one free. Here is what each one is for, before we get to the fee that is not printed in bold on the pricing page.

Beacons plan Monthly Billed annually Fee on digital sales Who it is for
Free $0 $0 9% Getting started, with Beacons branding on the page
Creator $10/mo about $8/mo 9% More customization, but the fee does not change
Creator Plus $30/mo about $25/mo 0% The first Beacons tier that stops taking a cut
Creator Max $90/mo about $75/mo 0% Higher limits and advanced tools for full-time sellers

Prices checked July 2026. Beacons renamed its paid tiers (the old Creator Pro, Store Pro and Business Pro labels are gone), so confirm the current plan names and numbers on Beacons' own pricing page before you commit. We update this page when they move.

Annual billing is roughly two months free

Paying yearly brings Creator to about $8 a month, Creator Plus to about $25 and Creator Max to about $75. It is a genuine discount and also a twelve month commitment. Confirm the current annual figures in your account, because promotional pricing shifts.

The $10 Creator plan does not cut the fee

Moving from Free to Creator buys you more customization and higher limits, but the 9% sales fee is identical on both. On pure cost, if you sell anything, the extra $10 a month for Creator is not buying you fee relief. Only Creator Plus does that.

The fee is the real price

A $10 plan that takes 9% of a $3,000 month is a $280 plan. The subscription line on your card is the small half of what Beacons costs a creator who sells. That is the whole reason for the next section.

02The buried cost

The 9% fee is what you are really paying

Beacons is upfront about the monthly number. The number that scales with your success is the percentage below Creator Plus.

When you sell a digital product on Beacons Free or Creator, Beacons keeps 9% of each sale. That fee disappears only when you move up to Creator Plus at $30 a month. So the plan you picked because it was cheap or free is charging a variable fee with no ceiling, and the plan you skipped because it cost more is the one that stops charging it.

Run the break-even and it is clear. Creator costs $10 plus 9% of sales. Creator Plus costs $30 plus nothing. Those two lines cross when 9% of your sales equals the $20 price gap, which happens at about $222 a month in digital sales. Sell more than that and Creator, the cheaper plan, is quietly costing you more than Creator Plus every month.

The free plan crosses too. At 9%, the $0 plan costs more than $30 Creator Plus once you clear roughly $333 a month in sales. One solid product launch and "free" is no longer the cheapest option. None of this is hidden exactly, but almost nobody does the arithmetic before choosing a tier.

To be fair to every platform: Stripe's processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction applies on Beacons, on Linktree, on Stan Store and on ExclusiveLink. Nobody escapes the card networks. What differs is the platform fee stacked on top, and whether that fee grows every time you have a good month.

03Run the numbers

What you actually pay at $1,000, $3,000 and $5,000 in monthly sales

Same creator, same products, same traffic. The only variable is which plan is taking a percentage. Stripe processing is left out because it is identical on every row and does not change the ranking.

Read that table honestly and you will notice the thing we are not going to hide: at every volume, Beacons Creator Plus keeps more of your money than ExclusiveLink Pro. Creator Plus is $30, our Pro is $49, and both take 0%. On fee arithmetic alone, Beacons Creator Plus wins by $19 a month. If the only thing you care about is the lowest possible cost per dollar of sales, that is the answer and you should take it.

What the arithmetic cannot show is what the $19 buys: a custom domain from Pro, gated and paid links as the core of the product rather than a store add-on, per-link revenue analytics with UTM, geo and device, and no platform branding on any plan we sell. That is the trade. We would rather you see it plainly than be talked into it.

The costly column is the middle one. A creator doing $5,000 a month on Beacons Free or Creator is handing over about $450 a month, roughly $5,400 a year, on a 9% fee. Moving that person to any 0% plan, ours or Beacons' own Creator Plus, is worth more than any design change on their page. If you are weighing the full switch rather than just the tier, the Beacons alternative comparison covers what changes beyond price.

Where the plans cross over

Creator (9% + $10) costs more than Creator Plus ($30) above$222/mo
Free (9%) costs more than Creator Plus ($30) above$333/mo
Creator Plus ($30) beats ExclusiveLink Pro ($49) on fees by$19/mo
ExclusiveLink Creator (2% + $19) costs more than our Pro ($49) above$1,500/mo

Every crossover is just the price gap divided by the fee difference. Sell above the number on the right and the cheaper looking plan is the expensive one.

04The wider market

How Beacons pricing compares to everyone else

Almost every link in bio platform runs the same playbook: a low monthly price with a percentage on your sales, and a zero fee tier that costs a lot more per month.

Platform Entry price Zero fee plan Fee below that plan
Beacons Free, then $10/mo Creator Plus, $30/mo 9% on Free and Creator
Linktree Free, then $8/mo Premium, $35/mo 12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro
Stan Store $29/mo Creator, $29/mo No platform transaction fee at any tier
ExclusiveLink $19/mo, no free tier Pro, $49/mo 2% on Creator, 0% on Pro and above

Beacons undercuts Linktree on the zero fee tier

Creator Plus reaches 0% at $30 a month, five dollars under Linktree Premium, and Beacons throws in one of the better native storefronts in the category. Below Creator Plus you are paying 9%, which is the same trap in a different jersey. Beacons is a serious option and we will not pretend otherwise.

Stan Store charges no platform fee at all

Stan starts at $29 a month with no transaction fee, and Creator Pro is $99. There is no free tier and no cheap tier, which is a defensible way to price. You pay a real subscription and you keep your revenue. See the full breakdown on the Stan Store pricing page.

We charge more up front and less later

ExclusiveLink is $19 for Creator (2%), $49 for Pro (0%), $149 for Studio and custom for Enterprise. No free plan, no branding on any tier, custom domain from Pro. Our full breakdown lives on the link in bio pricing page.

05Honestly

When Beacons is the right answer

We sell a competing product, so treat this as the section where we have every incentive to lie and are choosing not to.

You want a free storefront to test an idea

Beacons Free is one of the more generous free plans in the category, with a real store attached. If you are validating whether anyone will buy at all, a 9% fee on a handful of early sales is a rounding error, and paying nothing to find out is the right call. We do not have a free tier and will not invent a reason for you to pay us before you have proof.

You sell a little and want the lowest bill

Under about $220 a month in digital sales, Beacons Free or Creator plus 9% is cheaper than anything we offer. If the page is a side project rather than a business, the honest advice is to stay put and revisit this page when a launch clears a few thousand dollars.

Where it starts working against you

The moment selling is the point of the page, the 9% below Creator Plus starts taxing every good month, and the page still lives on a beacons.ai URL unless you move up and add a domain. That is the gap we built for: your own domain and 0% from the tier where selling gets serious.

What the fee actually buys back

On ExclusiveLink Pro, 0% platform fee means a $5,000 month costs $49, flat, forever. Add gated and paid links, your own domain, real per-link revenue analytics, and a page that carries nobody's branding but yours. The fee you stop paying funds a page that sells harder.

06Questions

Beacons pricing, answered directly

Is Beacons free?

Yes. Beacons has a real free plan at $0 a month with a working storefront, which is unusually generous for the category. The catch is that the free plan charges a 9% fee on digital product sales and puts Beacons branding on your page. Free stays cheap only until you start selling in volume.

How much does Beacons cost per month?

Beacons costs $0, $10, $30 or $90 a month for Free, Creator, Creator Plus and Creator Max respectively. Billed annually, the paid tiers drop to roughly $8, $25 and $75 a month. Beacons renamed its paid plans in the last year, so check the current labels on their site.

Does Beacons take a percentage of sales?

Yes. Beacons charges a 9% platform fee on digital sales on the Free and Creator plans. The fee drops to 0% on Creator Plus ($30/mo) and Creator Max ($90/mo). Stripe's processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction is charged on top of that, on every plan and every competing platform, ours included.

Is Beacons Creator worth it?

Only for the features, not the fee. Creator costs $10 a month and still charges the same 9% as the free plan, so it does not lower your cost of selling. If your goal is to stop paying a percentage, skip Creator and go straight to Creator Plus at $30, which is the first tier that takes 0%.

What is the cheapest way to sell from a link in bio?

It depends entirely on volume. Below roughly $300 a month in sales, a cheap percentage plan like Beacons Free or Creator wins. Between $300 and $1,500, a low fee plan such as ExclusiveLink Creator ($19 plus 2%) or a flat 0% plan pays for itself. Above that, always take a flat 0% fee plan.

All figures on this page were checked in July 2026. Vendors change pricing and plan names without much warning, so confirm the current numbers on Beacons' site before you buy.

Stop paying a percentage

A 9% fee is a tax that grows every time you win.
