Pillar Pricing (2026): Creator vs Entrepreneur Plans and Fees

· by ExclusiveLink

Pillar has three plans. Creator costs $39 a month with a 5% seller fee, Entrepreneur costs $129 a month with a 0% seller fee and a custom domain store, and Professional is $399 a month billed annually, with monthly pricing on request. On annual billing, Creator drops to $29 and Entrepreneur to $99 a month. Pillar's pricing page does not list a free plan; the annual Entrepreneur plan offers a 3-day free trial.

Those numbers are higher than many reviews still quote, because several 2025 articles list much lower tiers under different plan names. The figures in this article come from pillar.io/pricing, checked in September 2026, and the useful question they raise is simple: how much of Pillar do you actually use, and what does the part you use cost elsewhere?

How much does Pillar cost?

Pillar.io pricing, as listed on its own pricing page. Prices are per month in USD. The annual column is the monthly equivalent Pillar shows with yearly billing, which it markets as saving 25%.

Creator$39$29 a month5%Not included
Entrepreneur$129$99 a month, 3-day free trial0%Yes

Card processing is charged on top of the seller fee on every plan, as it is on every platform that takes payments. A year of Creator on annual billing is $348; a year of Entrepreneur is $1,188.

What each Pillar plan includes

Creator ($39, or $29 annual). A mobile store, unlimited digital products and calendar bookings, an online course builder, invoicing, a media kit that updates weekly, a QR business card and five AI credits. The store lives on a Pillar address, and every sale carries the 5% seller fee.

Entrepreneur ($129, or $99 annual). Everything in Creator, plus the store on your own domain, a daily media kit update, buy now pay later at checkout, event tickets, 30 AI credits, brand deal reports, sales funnel and landing page builders, premium support, and 0% seller fees. Pillar labels it the most popular plan, and for a creator who needs the domain or sells enough that 5% hurts, it is the real starting point.

Professional ($399 annual). Everything in Entrepreneur plus an AI trained on your content, a branded mobile app with push notifications, unlimited AI generation and a dedicated Slack support channel. This is for a creator business with staff and a large paying audience. If what you mainly need is a way to keep up with messages, a dedicated tool that answers fan DMs automatically is a much smaller line item than a $4,788 a year plan.

Does Pillar take a percentage of sales?

Yes, on Creator. Pillar lists a 5% seller fee on its $39 plan and 0% on Entrepreneur and Professional. The fee is what decides which plan is cheaper for you, and the break-even is easy to work out. On monthly billing, Entrepreneur costs $90 more than Creator. Five percent of $1,800 is $90. Sell more than $1,800 a month through Pillar and Entrepreneur is the cheaper plan even if you never touch its extra features. On annual billing the gap is $70, so the break-even is $1,400 a month in sales.

Below those numbers, Creator is cheaper, but the store stays on Pillar's address. That is the real trade: on Pillar, the domain and the 0% fee arrive together, at $99 to $129 a month.

Pillar Creator vs Entrepreneur: which plan to pick

Pick Creator if you are still testing what sells, your monthly sales sit under the break-even above, and a Pillar address is acceptable on your profile for now. It gives you the full product shelf, courses and bookings, and the fee only bites once revenue grows.

Pick Entrepreneur if any one of three things is true: you sell more than about $1,400 to $1,800 a month, you want the store on your own domain, or you sell a high-ticket program where buy now pay later lifts the close rate. If none of those apply and you are not using the course builder or bookings either, neither Pillar plan is the cheap way to get what you need, which is the case the last section of this article prices out.

Does Pillar have a free plan?

Not on its pricing page as of September 2026. The page shows three paid plans and a 3-day free trial on annual Entrepreneur. Older reviews describe cheaper tiers and different trial lengths; treat those as out of date, and check the live page before you budget around them.

Is Pillar worth the price?

Pillar is worth it when you use the parts other tools do not bundle. A fitness or business creator who hosts a course inside Pillar, sells booked calls, invoices clients and uses buy now pay later on a $1,000 program is replacing three or four subscriptions with one. At $99 a month on annual Entrepreneur, that is fair value.

It is poor value when the store is really a bio link with a few products on it. A photographer selling two preset packs, a writer gating a sample chapter, or a musician selling a stems download pays for a course builder, invoicing and AI credits they never open, and pays $129 to get the page onto their own domain.

We are the last row, so read it as a vendor's row. Stan Store and Linktree state their custom domain positions in their own help centers. Stripe's standard 2.9% plus 30 cents applies to every tool that takes payments, including ours.

What the same result costs without Pillar

If you sell files, links and access rather than courses and calls, the parts of Entrepreneur you need are the domain and the 0% fee. ExclusiveLink Pro has both at $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, with email-gated and paid links on any link on the page and revenue broken down by link, source and day. Over a year that is $468 on annual Pro against $1,188 on annual Entrepreneur. The side by side, including where Pillar still wins, is on the Pillar alternative page, and every plan is on our pricing page.

If the domain is the main reason you are looking, the link in bio custom domain comparison lists which platforms support one and on which plan. And if you want to see a paid link work before you decide, the link in bio maker at the top of this page builds one in about a minute.
