Komi Alternatives for Creators Who Sell Digital Products

· by ExclusiveLink

The best Komi alternative depends on why you are leaving. For courses and paid bookings, Stan Store at $29 a month with a 0% fee is the closest match. For a free page with a media kit, Beacons. For the lowest possible price, Lnk.bio at $24.99 once. For selling access to a single link on your own domain, ExclusiveLink Pro at $49 a month billed yearly.

Start with one fact: Komi Pro is $20 a month, or $16 on annual billing, with a 0% fee on digital product sales, unlimited email campaigns and a custom domain. Very few tools beat that on price. So a switch makes sense only when Komi lacks something specific, and the six options below are sorted by what that something usually is.

Why creators look for a Komi alternative

Komi grew up around music and entertainment, and its free Starter plan is designed to win brand deals: a mini-site, affiliate links, fan contacts and access to Komi's brand hub. That shapes where it falls short for other creators. These are the four reasons that come up most.

  • Starter cannot sell. Komi's plan comparison shows digital products and email sends as Pro only, so the free plan collects contacts it cannot email or sell to.
  • The domain is a support ticket. Komi's FAQ says to email its support team to set up a custom domain. It works, but it is not a setting you control.
  • No bookings or courses listed. Komi's plan table lists digital products, events, video, audio, tipping and custom products. A coach who needs a calendar or a course player has to bolt one on.
  • No price on a single link. Selling access to something that already lives at a URL, like a private playlist or a replay, means wrapping it as a product rather than putting a lock on the link.

The six Komi alternatives, and who each one suits

1. Stan Store, if you sell courses or calls

Stan Store is the natural step for a creator whose income moved from brand deals to coaching and courses. Creator is $29 a month and Creator Pro $99, both with a 0% platform fee and a 14-day trial, and the store handles digital downloads, courses and paid calendar bookings in one checkout. The trade-off is the address: Stan's help center says it does not offer a custom domain, so your page stays on stan.store. Prices and plan detail are on our Stan Store pricing page.

2. Beacons, if you want a free plan with a media kit

Beacons covers the same brand-deal ground Komi does, with a media kit, a store and email, and it keeps a usable free plan. The catch is the fee. Free and the $10 Creator plan keep 9% of each sale, and the cut only drops to 0% on Creator Plus at $30 a month. A custom domain comes with the $10 plan. Our Beacons pricing breakdown has the yearly figures.

If the media kit is how you land sponsors, it pays to see what a brand is already spending on before you pitch it. A tool that pulls a company's live ads from Meta, Google and TikTok shows which creators and formats it is running right now, which makes the pitch specific.

3. Lnk.bio, if price is the whole decision

Lnk.bio Unique is $24.99 paid once, with no subscription, a shop, newsletter signups and no logo. For a page that sells a few hundred dollars a month it is the cheapest option here. The cost grows with sales because the shop keeps a fixed 5% per sale, and connecting your own domain is a $39.99 a year add-on. Every plan is listed in our Lnk.bio pricing article.

4. Linkme, if you post to many platforms

Linkme is the pick when the time sink is posting rather than selling. Post to All publishes one video to every platform, Pro adds unlimited Instagram automations, and the web price is $5.99 a month for Plus or $19.99 for Pro, much less on yearly billing. Its pricing page does not publish a fee on digital sales or list a custom domain, so check both at setup. The same plans cost more inside the app, as our Linkme pricing article explains.

5. Pillar, if the page is becoming a real store

Pillar suits a creator with a growing catalog. Creator is $39 a month ($29 annual) with a 5% seller fee and no custom domain. Entrepreneur is $129 a month ($99 annual) with a 0% fee and a store on your own domain. That second plan costs several times Komi Pro, so it only makes sense when the catalog and revenue justify it.

6. ExclusiveLink, if you sell access to a link

This is our product, so weigh this section accordingly. ExclusiveLink puts a one-time payment or an email lock on any link on your page. The buyer pays, and the URL you set opens: a private playlist, a Drive folder, a replay, a calendar behind a deposit. Nothing has to be uploaded as a product. Every buyer and email exports to CSV with the link and platform that brought them, and Pro runs the page on your own domain, connected from the panel rather than by email.

It is not cheaper than Komi. Creator is $49 a month ($24 billed yearly) with a 2% fee, and Pro is $99 ($49 billed yearly) with 0%. It is the better buy for a creator selling access worth more than a few hundred dollars a month who wants that control. The link in bio for exclusive content page shows how the locks work, and the link in bio to sell digital products page covers each product type.

When you should stay on Komi

Stay if you are a musician or entertainer who uses Komi's brand hub, sells a handful of digital products and is fine asking support for a domain. At $16 a month on annual billing with a 0% fee, unlimited email sends and unlimited profiles and team members, Komi Pro is one of the best value plans in the category. None of the alternatives above beats it on price for that profile. Switch for a missing capability, not to save money.

How to move off Komi without losing sales

  1. Get your fan contacts out of Komi's CRM first, while your plan is still active, and confirm the export works before you cancel.
  2. Rebuild the products and links that sold in the last 90 days on the new tool, and buy the cheapest one yourself to test delivery.
  3. If Komi set up a custom domain for you, ask support to release it, then point the DNS at the new tool.
  4. Change the link in every bio on the same evening, and leave the Komi page up with one link to the new page for at least 30 days.

Komi alternative questions

What is the best alternative to Komi?

Stan Store is the best Komi alternative for courses and paid bookings, at $29 a month with a 0% fee. Beacons is the best free option with a media kit. Lnk.bio is the cheapest at $24.99 once. For selling access to a single link on your own domain, ExclusiveLink Pro at $49 a month billed yearly fits best.

Is Komi free?

Yes. Komi's Starter plan is free and includes a mini-site, unlimited content and affiliate links, fan contact capture, analytics and access to brand deals. Digital product sales, email campaigns, branding removal and a custom domain need Pro, which is $20 a month or $16 on annual billing.

Does Komi take a percentage of sales?

No. Komi lists a 0% fee on digital product sales on Pro, and Starter does not include digital products at all. You still pay card processing to the payment provider. Beacons keeps 9% below its $30 plan, Lnk.bio keeps 5% per shop sale and Pillar 5% on its Creator plan.

Is Komi better than Linktree?

For selling, usually yes. Komi Pro sells digital products with a 0% fee and supports a custom domain, while Linktree's help center says it does not support custom domains on any plan. For a plain list of links, either free plan does the job.

Can I use my own domain on Komi?

Yes, on Pro. Komi's FAQ says to email [email protected] and its team sets the domain up for you. Tools where you connect the domain yourself include Beacons from its $10 plan, Lnk.bio with a $39.99 a year add-on and ExclusiveLink on Pro.
