Link in Bio for Tickets: The Link in Bio for Events That Sells Out Your Shows

Every post you make about a show ends with "tickets in bio". ExclusiveLink makes that page do its job: the next event sits on top with date, city and price in the button, a presale list collects emails before tickets drop, the on-sale link goes live on schedule, and you can see which Reel or TikTok actually sold the seats.

The short answer

A link in bio for tickets is a single page in your Instagram or TikTok profile that sends fans straight to the checkout for your next event. The best one shows the next show first with its date and price, collects presale emails before tickets go on sale, switches links on a schedule so nobody lands on a sold out or past event, and reports clicks by platform and post.

ExclusiveLink does all four. Your tickets still sell on the platform you already use (Eventbrite, DICE, Ticketmaster, Posh, Tixr or your venue's box office); the bio page is what gets people there. Creator is $19 a month, and Pro at $49 adds scheduled links, A/B testing of button labels, full analytics and your own domain.

Where ticket sales leak

The seats you lose between the post and the checkout

Your content does the hard part. It gets someone excited enough to tap. Three things on the bio page decide whether that tap turns into a ticket.

Stale event links

Last month's show is still the top link, or the button goes to an event page that says "sales ended". A fan who hits a dead end rarely goes looking for the right one. They assume they missed it and scroll on.

The ticket link is buried

Socials, a Spotify playlist, a merch store, a sponsor, then the tickets. On a phone, whatever sits below the first screen gets a fraction of the taps. The event people came for should be the first thing they see, with the date and city in the label.

No presale list

When a show is announced weeks before tickets drop, the interested fans have nowhere to go. "Turn on post notifications" is not a plan. An email list collected on the bio page is the one channel you can hit at the exact minute sales open.

An event link in bio, block by block

How to lay out a link in bio page that sells tickets

Order the page by date and urgency, not by what you added first. Four blocks cover most promoters, venues and touring shows.

1. The next event

One button, with the essentials in the label: "Fri Oct 17, Brooklyn, tickets from $25". Fans decide from the label alone whether it is their night, so they tap with intent instead of tapping to find out.

2. Presale signup

For announced shows that are not on sale yet, an email gate: "Get the presale code". The fan leaves an address, you send the code before general sale. That list is worth more than any single post.

3. The rest of the run

Three or four more dates at most, soonest first. A tour with twenty dates is better served by one "All dates" link to your ticketing page than by twenty buttons nobody scrolls through.

4. Everything else

Venue info and parking, the aftermovie, merch, sponsor links, VIP and table inquiries. Useful for the fan who scrolls, never in the way of the one ready to buy.

This works for any recurring event business: club nights and party series, comedy shows, live music venues, food and drink festivals, run clubs with race entries, workshops and classes, conferences and meetups, and touring acts. If you are a DJ selling your own bookings rather than tickets to a night, the link in bio for DJs page is built around inquiries and EPKs instead, and bands with a release to push should look at the link in bio for musicians layout.

What ExclusiveLink does for event sellers

A ticket page that updates itself and tells you what sold

Scheduled on-sale links

On Pro, set the ticket link to appear at 10 a.m. on on-sale day and expire the night of the show. The presale gate comes down, the buy button goes up, and nobody has to be awake to swap it.

Presale lists you own

Email gates on every plan. Each address lands in your panel and exports as CSV, ready for Mailchimp, Kit, Klaviyo or the ticketing platform's own presale tools.

Clicks by platform and post

See taps per link per day on every plan. Pro adds UTM, device and city breakdowns, so you know whether the lineup Reel or the TikTok teaser moved tickets, and which city to push harder.

A/B test the button

On Pro, run two labels against each other: "Tickets from $25" against "Last 40 tickets". Keep whichever gets tapped more. Small wording changes move real numbers on a sell-out push.

Your own domain on flyers

On Pro, one CNAME record puts the page on tickets.yourevent.com. A short address you own looks right on posters, wristbands and screens at the venue, and it never changes when you switch ticketing providers.

Paid links for extras

Sell the digital side directly from the page: a workshop replay, the set recording you own the rights to, a photo pack. The buyer gets the file after checkout. 2% fee on Creator, 0% on Pro.

To be clear about what we are not: ExclusiveLink is not a ticketing platform. We do not issue tickets, scan QR codes at the door or run seating charts. Keep selling on the ticketing service you trust; our job is getting more of your followers into its checkout, and telling you which content did it.

From announcement to doors

The on-sale timeline, run from one bio link

The same page carries the event through four stages. Set each one up in advance and let the schedule switch it.

1

Announcement

Post the lineup and date. The top of the page is a presale email gate. Every "link in bio" in the caption now builds a list instead of pointing at nothing.

2

Presale

Export the list and send the code an hour before the public link goes live. The fans who signed up get first pick and feel rewarded for it.

3

General sale

The scheduled ticket button replaces the gate at on-sale time. Watch taps by post and double down on the content that is converting.

4

After the show

The link expires on show night. The next event moves up automatically, and the recap video or photo pack takes its old spot.

If you run one event a year and have nothing else to link, point your bio straight at the ticketing page and skip the extra tool. A bio page earns its cost once you run events regularly: one extra table or ten extra tickets on a single night covers a year of Pro. Linktree's help center states it offers no custom domain at any price, which matters if the address goes on printed flyers. Card processing on ticket sales is charged by your ticketing platform, not by us.

Ticket links in your bio, answered

How do I put a ticket link in my Instagram bio?

Open Instagram, tap Edit profile, then Links, then Add external link, and paste your ticket or link in bio page URL. Instagram allows up to five links but shows only the first on your profile, so put the link that matters most first. A bio page lets you list every event behind that one link. See the link in bio for Instagram page for the setup.

How do I sell tickets on Instagram?

Create the event on a ticketing platform, then put the ticket link at the top of your link in bio page and point every post, Reel and Story at it with "tickets in bio". Stories can also carry a link sticker straight to checkout. Collect presale emails before on-sale so you can reach fans the moment tickets drop.

Should I link to Eventbrite directly or use a link in bio page?

Link directly if you only ever have one event and nothing else to promote. Use a link in bio page once you run recurring events, need a presale list, or want to know which post sold tickets. The bio page also stays the same when you move between ticketing platforms, so old posts never break.

How do I set up a presale list for an event?

Add an email-gated link at the top of your bio page labeled with the benefit, for example "Get the presale code". Fans enter their email to sign up. Before general sale, export the list and send them the code or early link. On ExclusiveLink, email gates are on every plan and the list exports as CSV.

How many events should I show on my link in bio?

Three to five at most, soonest first, with the date and city in each button. Beyond that, add one "All dates" link to your ticketing page. Remove events as soon as they pass, or schedule them to expire automatically, so nobody taps into a show that already happened.

Can I use my own domain for my event link?

Yes, on ExclusiveLink Pro. Add one CNAME record and your page runs on something like tickets.yourevent.com, which prints cleanly on flyers and survives a change of ticketing provider. Linktree and Stan Store do not offer custom domains. The custom domain link in bio page covers the setup.

How much does a link in bio for events cost?

ExclusiveLink Creator is $19 a month ($15 billed yearly) with presale gates and click data. Pro is $49 a month ($39 yearly) and adds scheduled links, A/B testing, full analytics and a custom domain. Ticket fees are charged by your ticketing platform, not by us. Every plan is on the pricing page.
